This cripples the argument that domain specific ontologies can only be created by Semantic Web experts. Expert knowledge of your particular domain (or profession) is the only thing you’ll need to be part of the revolution.

Definitely yes. While looking for some info on semantic web I’ve stumbled upon an interesting article describing methodology for clearing-up taxonomies. It’s all about answering a set of proper questions e.g: “If an instance of animal ceases to be an instance of animal, does it cease to be an instance of physical-object? (Y,N)”. Here’s the link:
